Just creatures that I come across from time to time regardless of species. Wildlife is an all encompassing term used to describe the living breathing creatures that inhabit our landscapes, be they urban or rural, mountainous or coastal, desert or glacial, something lives there. So right in front of us, no matter where we are on the planet, is an abundance of amazing creatures, all integral to our very existence as well as the survival of every other creature and plant. I have never ceased to wonder at these interwoven existences, all the fauna and flora, each dependant on the other, each developed to their particular environment, many unique to that environment and many of them adapting to and utilizing man made environments, all doing so without a team of advisors, designers, engineers and definitely without saying "I can't...". They all just get on and live their lives and couldn't care less about creating an image of themselves to impress the next door nieghbour (except in the mating season of course!) or getting a loan to buy the latest car... Where did we go so very wrong?
